Raglan leadscrew

This is a Myford leadscrew handwheel fitted onto my Raglan lathe. Both leadscrews are 1/8″ pitch, so the handle matches. It’s pretty useful for setting the position of the rear parting off tool along a bar

The collar on the left is a stop, locked in place by a grubscrew into the slot in the shaft. When I got the lathe, it was positioned in front of the carriage to act as a fixed stop. I have it behind the carriage at the moment as I’m trying out some screwcutting techniques

On the right is the fixed end of the screwcutting leadscrew. This is located by a pair of thrust bearings, one either side of the casting
